Hotel pick-up
Your guide picks you up at your hotel in Hurghada for the short transfer to the desert starting point just outside the city.

Safety briefing & quad bike introduction
Arrive at the desert base camp and meet your guide. You receive a full safety briefing and a hands-on introduction to operating your quad bike. No prior experience is necessary as the quads are straightforward to ride and your guide will stay with the group throughout.

Desert ride through the dunes
Set off into the Eastern Desert on your quad bike. Ride through vast sandy landscapes, over rolling dunes, and across the dramatic rocky terrain that stretches behind the Hurghada coastline. The desert scenery here is completely different from the beach resort side of the city and gives you a true sense of the raw beauty of the Egyptian landscape.

Bedouin village visit
Stop at a traditional Bedouin village in the desert. Meet the local Bedouin community, learn about their ancient nomadic traditions, and experience the warmth of their famous hospitality. Your guide will explain the history and culture of the Bedouin people of the Eastern Desert.

Bedouin tea at the camp
Sit down at the Bedouin camp for a traditional cup of sweet Bedouin tea and a moment of calm in the middle of the desert. A completely different world from the beach hotels just a few kilometres away.

Mount your quad bike for the return ride through the desert back to the base camp.

No experience is necessary. The quad bikes used on this safari are automatic and easy to operate. Your guide gives a thorough safety briefing and practical introduction before setting off and stays with the group throughout the entire ride to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe.
The quad bike safari lasts approximately 3 hours in total, including the safety briefing, the desert ride, the Bedouin village visit, and the return transfer to your hotel. Departure is available in the morning and in the evening for a sunset desert experience.
We recommend this experience for children aged 8 and above. Younger children are not recommended for safety reasons. Children between 8 and 12 years ride with a guide or alongside a parent and pay a reduced price of €25.
Comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dusty are ideal. Closed shoes are required. Safety helmets are provided. Goggles and a scarf to protect against desert dust are available to purchase on site and are strongly recommended. A light layer is recommended for the early morning departure as the desert can be surprisingly cool before 09:00.
